FEU Peace Activity
The SGI Philippines joined the 8th Summer Seminar Workshop on Peace Education of the Angel C. Palanca Peace Program Foundation, Inc., an auxiliary office in Far Eastern University (FEU), in partnership with the Center for Transformative Education of Philippine Normal University (PNU), last May 8 – 9, 2018 at FEU campus in Manila.
1st Ikeda Peace Symposium
On February 24, Soka University, Tokyo, Japan, and the University of the East, in cooperation with SGI-Philippines, organized the first “Ikeda Symposium” at the SGI-Philippines Manila International Peace Center, Escolta.
Anti-Nuclear Exhibition and Peace Forum
On October 8, 2017, in commemoration of the 60th Anniversary of President Toda's Declaration Calling for the Abolition of Nuclear Weapons, SGI Philippines opened the awareness-raising exhibition "Everything You Treasure – For a World Free From Nuclear Weapons" at the Manila International Peace Center, Escolta, Manila.
