SGI PHILIPPINES CELEBRATES CHINESE NEW YEAR   

Over a thousand of SGI Philippine Chinese members joyously gathered at Manila International Peace Center last January 25 to celebrate the Lunar New Year (Spring Festival). 

The activity showcases dynamic talents of Chinese members in a mini-culture festival. However, the highlight of the celebration was the reading of SGI President Ikeda's 2020 New Year’s Message emphasizing that “Aligning our lives with the Mystic Law can cause the sun of time without beginning—our inherent Buddhahood—to shine forth with fresh and vibrant brilliance each day to create boundless and immeasurable value in the form of happiness and peace.”

SGI Philippine Chinese members are kicking off thru this cultural celebration to enact the advancement of Philippine kosen-rufu in this year’s theme, “Year of Advancement and Capable People.”
